Deepcrab

This work was done from different items.The shipwreck which seen far right corner of the scene is a minuature and the rock-reef element on the right front corner is a mass made from plaster.
It was painted digitally and cloned . The research submarine lighting the shipwreck was made from my sketch drawing. I made The Rescue Robo-crab from my old design. I photographed all minuature elements and scanned into PC. I scaled, filtered, textured them. So I have no refence photo from real world. However I created my own. I used CS2&INTUOS3 for this artwork.

i painted this artwork on a drawing from my sketchbook. only i use some skin texture for the lizard . then i finished all with my textured brushes—textured brush, dodge, burn, eraser etc…
and rest of the work was completed with layers of low opacity and flow painting finally i played on filters and adjustments.. the result is different far from the drawing…

Last Meal

there is a story about a dwarf who eats his last meal before being a meal for a bug. because he founds an egg that belong a predator bug… i borrowed this bug from my previous artwork called the predator. thus i spent my all time for the dwarf and rock design.

Sponge Collector

This is a sponge collector. He is cuts various sponges and loads his underwater truck. He sometimes spends all day looking for very special kind sponges… The end of the day, he sells the special sponges in the AQUASIS , a giant underwater city established on the deep of the ocean, at a very good money. And takes the remains for his family…

I designed the basic comp. On paper. Then finished on PC. With CS2&INTUOS3

Love II

This is the second work of The Love Trilogy. it took much time. i use ref.photo for the manta-ray and some sea creatures with many layers. I have made an oilcolor painting on canvas in the past. now, i created she again digitally. anyway, i already started thinking on the composition of the third Love painting…

Hydrocrea

This guy is an underwater creature. He is a worker and earns his life with his mechanical cutter . He cuts deepsea sponges, corels, seaweeds and sells them… I designed this character on paper first, then colored on PC. I redesigned the pressured tank and its parts from a photo that I’ve taken from an airplane fragment.
I used many different layers for cables, digital signs, tattoo, buttons and other details. I cloned some textures and changed them by coloring.
This artwork is finished with CS2&INTUOS3. All critics are welcome.
